Distributive electric heater (DEH) design and external appearance is comprised of electroconductive layer made at the basis of carbon fiber and elecroinsulating layers (glass fiber plastic) from both sides of the conductor, and has the appearance of a thin, flat plastic sheet.
When electric current is passed through the inner resistive layer, heat is releasing in long-wave-length infrared range (70 per cent), i.e. the device operates as a radiator. The rest of the energy goes for heating the environment by convection. Operates in infrared range (70 per cent) Thin (1-3 mm) Light (1-1.5 kg)

The main advantage of DEH is that it gives out warmth in the infrared range. For example, a bonfire is not able to warm up the air in the forest in winter at negative temperature, only humans warm themselves taking risk to burn their garments. When compared with convection heating, which warms up air and objects are warmed up from the air, the long-wave-length infrared heating gives warmth primarily to humans and objects, and thereafter the warmth is transferred to the air. Thus, DEH warms up first of all humans and then the air in a room. It is more precise in achieving the goal of humans heating than convection devices or heating systems for premises and, accordingly, is more attractive economically (up to 25 per cent).

Protection of DEH against current affection: Class 0 (Test breakdown voltage: 1.25 kV) Class 2 (Test breakdown voltage: 3.75 kV) Specific output (consumption) power: 1.0 kW/m2
